CoachTools 25 Under 25 Spotlight: Griffin Olson
We are excited to announce that Griffin Olson has been selected as one of the distinguished young coaches in the CoachTools 25 Under 25 program!
Griffin serves as the Director of Football Operations, Defensive Line Coach, and Special Teams Coordinator for the St. Mary-of-the-Woods College Sprint Football Team. His dedication and exceptional performance have earned him the title of 2023 Student Employee of the Year.
St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, home of the Pomeroys, is a member of the NAIA and competes in the River States Conference. The college fields 16 intercollegiate varsity teams and has a strong commitment to athletics, with nearly 30 percent of students participating in sports. In 2022, SMWC added sprint football to its roster, becoming one of the charter members of the Midwest Sprint Football League.
Griffin Olson’s commitment to excellence in his multifaceted role at SMWC makes him a deserving recipient of this recognition. We are proud to celebrate his achievements and look forward to his continued success in the field of football coaching.

Griffin is my grandson and I could not be happier or more proud of him than I am right now. He is good young man and becoming an outstanding leader . I truly believe he will become a great coach in the near future.
